How much of PNLH can be used at the 5-150 games, would it be worth the buy?

I have never read it, but I have read other books.  A lot of the strategies can be used, but must be altered because of some rules of the game.

First off, the stacks are pretty short with most people under $300, meaning most people only have 30 BBs.  So you aren't playing deepstacked at all, which a lot of the books like to focus on.

Also, once the pot gets between $100 and $200, you are close to reaching the max, and can't price out draws as much.  But for preflop play, and a ton of flop play, I assume any NL book would be useful.  Once you get to turn and river and the pot gets big, all you can do is bet or raise max...

Pope are you using BB as a "big blind" or "big bet".  Most people only use big bets when referring to NL as a way of keeping track of winnings, in that a big bet equals 2x the big blind.  However, if each person has $300, then they have 60 big blinds.  Just curious as to how you were using the abbreviation "BB" in your above post as there is certainly a big difference between 30 and 60 big blinds.
