I understand your point, but do you really want people straddling for $155 in a 5-150 game? Sounds like a great way to kill the game. You or I may be able to play profitably against such a straddler, but the average player will get very frustrated very quickly, and that's the end of the game as a whole.

No probably not( the 155 dollar straddle) but i don't think you would see them that often anyway.   But, if the option was there...you might more commonly see straddles along the 30 or 40 dollar range.  Would be an interesting "test" to see who would make those straddles.
