I was wondering how the lower limit (3-6, 4-8) games are run on weekdays when the late morning tournaments start.  Do they shut down or are there always a few tables going while the tournament runs?  I don't care to play in the tourneys and don't want to wait around for a lot of players to get railed before getting up a game during the 10:00 a.m. -- 2:00 p.m. time frame.

You wont ever have trouble finding a game at those limits during that time span.
Nothing to even worry about.

Yes, as the last two replied used their coded language to indicate, there are always 3/6 at 4/8 games going around the clock.  At 3am on Tuesday morning, there might only be 2 3/6 and 1 4/8 game going, but they will be going.

As for the tournament, they usually start a ton a 3/6 games around 9am when people show up to get the extra chips that two hours prior provide.  Then a lot of the games close when the tourney starts, but they still have ample tables for both cash and tournaments.  And over half the players are gone by the first break, so more cash games start as tourney players bust.

yes, not intentionally surreptitious though...
FYP..."fixed your post"- look for a change in the orginal post that makes it more "accurate" to the circumstance.
QFT..."quoted for truth"- to empahsize a point made
