To the posters that believe they have been ripped off, scammed, etc. here is the deal:
Casino Arizona and the state of Arizona go to great lengths to make sure this does not happen.  Besides that, CASINO ARIZONA DOES NOT NEED TO CHEAT TO MAKE MONEY!  The #1 casino in the state of Arizona (as well as every other casino) would never risk the right they have been given to monopolize the gambling market by cheating its customers.  That being said, does cheating ever happen?  Maybe rarely, and most likely by those not employed by the casino.  In my ten years at CAZ, I do not recall any employees ever being caught ripping off customers (nor the casino or its machines!).
CAZ is regularly inspected by state gaming employees.  The slots have to pay out a certain percentage.  The video poker machines have to pay out a certain percentage.  All machines are regularly inspected by the state.  There are strict rules as far as where the poker room cards are bought, stored, and inspected.  All employees have to pass an extremely strict background check before getting hired (I have been told it it equal to the FBI's!)  This takes months.  I have more specific information but I think you get the picture now.
Let me also remind you that I am an independent employee, not being paid by anyone to say these things!

No sure where the pronouncement of cheating, scams and Scottsdale is a ripoff came from...

I recall the one guy who thought the video roulette wheel was rigged. He believed he was being watched by the attendant who was manipulating it or some such nonsense.

Yeah, that guy had something against Scottsdale and I believe he did say it was a rip-off.
