4/8 game, Kill pot, typical raise 6 callers preflop.
Utg check raises, leaving three players, turn bet loses one more, river...UTG bets out all-in, cut off calls
Showdown, bettor flips a set
cutoff shows a straight...runner runner gutshot.
Bettor: "Niice river", (actually sounded sincere)
River boy: "Thank you"
Bettor: "I hope you sit on your nuts", and walks off. (this sounded sincere as well)
LOL.
In a 5/150 game a week or so ago, this guy calls $150 on the turn and makes his straight on the river. Gets $300 out of the guy on the river.
After the hand is over, the guy who lost says: "How the hell do you call $150 on the turn?"
Other player without blinking says, "Once I'm done stacking your chips I'll explain it to you."
OUCH!
