Title: Twitter/Promotions
Post by: KS1971 on December 13, 2009, 05:43:56 PM
You guys should really utilize twitter to advertise your promotions.  I follow you on twitter but the person who updates it hardly ever posts anything.  I used to live in Vegas and many of the poker rooms there use it daily to attract players to the room.  Best of all, it's free.

Unfortunately, this site is completely independent from the CAZ poker room.

I didn't know that. I thought the employees set it up.  Good to know, thanks.

Well if I worked promotions at CAZ, I would post the jackpot amounts daily. If players see the NLHE jackpot was up to $15k they will probably show up ASAP.

Thanks for your posts, we appreciate your contributions.

You are correct that we should try to utilize twitter more, and as that_pope has clarified, we are independent of the poker room.

It has always been our intent that this board be a seen as a positive marketing/promotion tool for the poker room.  Though initially we placed a few signs, we have since refrained from aggressively advertising on the property as that may not be deemed appropriate.   WE hope(d) that word of mouth might take over.

Having the employees involved would be a great asset to the board.
Please pass the word as you are playing, to other players and the employees, perhaps there will come a time where the casino will become actively involved or allow active promotion of the board.
