I noticed this game listed on the high limit board today. Has it ever gotten going? I know a couple years ago there was a 30/60 horse that never went while I was there but I think playing in such a game would be pretty fun. The only time I've found a mix game I could afford to play in was at Venician last year where we got a 6/12 horse going and obviously dealer's choice home games. A 6/12 mix would be spectacular here but I don't expect it will ever happen.
that list is usually started by a select few 8 or better players who hope to run over the others who come in to play looking for a change from the 20/40 hold em game.
It goes every once in a while, but doesn't last for more than a day or two at best. If you have a bad session, you will have to recover in another game.
I've seen the game go once, at least when it was called it was half omaha 8/b and half stud 8/b.
The 30/60 mixed game was used by me to get a HU limit hold'em game when 20/40 and 40/80 were full, and wouldn't let me play who I wanted HU, so we started a 30/60 mix, and only played Hold'em, so we could be HU.
