It seems like the place is a little dead to years past. At most of the $5-$150 tables a full buy in of $350 will make you the chip leader by a wide margin.
How about a $2-$150 ($1/$2 blinds) game with a max buy in of $200?
It has been discussed before, but I think it is a great idea, and would play much more like a NL game...

if they did a $2.00 cap on rake they could put a big dent in the small NL card room business too.
I guess I am the only one that hates this idea =/
I would much rather them raise the min buy in of the game to $200 dollars, and the max buy of the 5-150 game to $500.00. I just hate less money being on the table.
Now...if they actually want to start a proposition, and get NL enabled in AZ, by all means, spread a 1/3, 3/5, and 5/10+ game. But doing this is just going to kill the action I think for the normal 5-150 game.
A 1/2-150 game is highly unlikely, especially with a $2 drop. It would kill the 5-150 game and make it harder( to large of a gap) for players to step to the 10-150.
Changing the cap is a viable option, but not the minimum.
A 1/2 blind 2-10/ 20( optional river bet) $50- $200 buy-in to draw in the 3/6 4/8 players.
Getting NL may not be such a good idea either...If NL was "legal" and spread in casinos, how long do you think the games would last before the community bankroll started to dry up and concentrate with a core group of players?
I think you might be surprised at how quickly the contributors may get busted or frustrated.
I think there will always be a stream of bad players.
I like the idea of raising the cap on the 5-150 game to something above $350.00. I agree that some of the really horrible people would drop down to a 1/2-150 ($200.00 max) buy-in game, but those are the people buying in for 100$ or less now.
I think three levels wouldn't change the games much, they could always do like 2 tables max of the 1/2-150 game or something.
I dont think the casino would go for a 1/2-150 game. They wouldnt be able to drop enough rake, and so they would probably rather spread a normal game to get a better rake. Unless the people playing a 2-150 game dont mind basically 5 dollars (4rake+1jp) getting dropped each round, heh.
Hell, if we are going for wishlists here. I want the 5-150 game to get jumped to a 500 dollar buying. And if they could also do HO on some tables (Holdem for 9 hands, then 9 hands of Omaha Hi) I would be ecstatic :P
I wonder if we could even get an interest list for them to spread that. I got an interest going for a smaller buying 2-7 game (10/20 limit basically) and they said they would not spread it any lower than 75/150. I cannot imagine why, unless for some reason they believe they want to make it appear as if that game is a privileged game, and spreading it in a lower limit would somehow degrade it. CA runs things pretty stupidly sometimes. (lock box's anyone?)

perspective, what we may want as players isnt at always what the casino may want , need, or deem profitable in the long term,we have to keep that in mind.
2-7 is a pretty specialized game, plenty will take a passing interest or a "shot" there will never be enough long term interest at lower limits to run a steady game, that's what the casino wants, if it affects the current base of games that are spread regularly, its doubtful it will be meet with much enthusiasm.
That said, a good promotion might be a "special" game spread on certain nights only, create a stir of sorts.
Talk to the shift boss and ask them if they would spread a specific game if you could bring in the players, and then start spreading the word about a 5-150 half and half on Thursdays at a certain time rather than just showing up and trying to start a list and hoping there are enough players that may want to play.
