Title: 75/150 triple draw
Post by: that_pope on October 26, 2008, 03:21:49 AM
Just 'heard' on another message board that a 75/150 triple draw game has been going at CAZ.  And it has a larger than normal time charge of $10.  Not that many, if any of us in the forum can play it, but I do think this is the first draw game dealt at CAZ, unless one was played before I started poker, which was early 2005...

(and we needed a post, this forum is dying!)

Yeah, this new game is an interesting addition, i wonder whose idea it was.  It is 75/150 limit only, they will only spread it as a straight 2-7 triple draw, not part of the "mix" game.  Not sure why they would do this., It doesn't make a whole lot of sense as it not a game that brings in many ( if any) new players...it seems to cater to a select few players.

( and yes this forum has been slow)

I have been told that the 10 drop is to make up for the fact that they only spread the game 6-7 handed.  Now the casino does not lose any revenue.

I cant see this game lasting (over under is 2-3 weeks)  supposed to bring some players from the fort but, I havent seen one yet.

Yesterday the game only went for a couple hours and only three handed at that.  Could be that it got milked dry that quickly or the players finally realized who had the advantage...

may have been a bit premature...it was back with a list in Thursday.  They must have just taken a break.

This game still goes most days. It's been far more popular than I thought. Last week I came in at noon only to see it played by the same players, wearing the same clothes, in the same seats, as they were at noon the day prior.
