Title: My poker room in Upstate NY
Post by: BobinskiAK on January 11, 2008, 02:58:50 PM
It's not much, but we're proud of it.  We get up to 60 for our tournaments.  Thought I would throw a picture of it on here as I'll be playing at Casino AZ this year.

Nice stuff, a privately run room I assume.

Sort of, its a hall of a volunteer fire dept. I am a social member there and they allow me to use the hall to run tournaments as many of the firemen like to play.  I ask players to donate some money if they wish to the dept. so they stay happy and I dont rake games at all.  I have fun with it and do OK in the side games.

Cool room.  What part of upstate is it?  I have some family that live in Utica and Albany that I go visit occasionally.  Maybe I could check it out next time I'm there if it's not too far out of the way.

Amsterdam, between Utica and Albany. You are more than welcome.
