Common side effects of 6/12 include fatigue, nausea, dryness of the mouth, agitation, dizziness, confusion, fast or irregular heartbeat, blurred vision, loss of appetite, nervousness, changes in libido, unpleasant taste, weight gain, uncontrolled muscle movement, vision or speech changes, headache, vomiting, depression, dementia, erectile dysfunction, chest pain, hair loss, and diarrhea.

It's boycott time.  Let's get some 9/18, 10/20 or 15/30 going before it's too late!

Back in '06 when there was usually 2/3 8/16 games, 2/3 6/12 games and 2/3 20/40 games most evenings, this wasn't possible.  Wasn't enough volume to support another level between them then, there sure as hell isn't now.

They tried the 9/18 for about a week a number of years ago with the yellow $3 chips, it went OK the first few hours, but i think it just became to confusing/to much work for players with the 9 and 18 $ betting structure when the raises started coming in fast and furious.

The 10/20 that used to go turned in to such a nit fest that it was not uncommon for the blinds to chop 7 or 8 hands in a row, it was sick, and it died a deserved death.
Another issue with that game was the fact that they used red chips, IF they tried to revive it, it would most certainly be better if they used the blue $2 chips.

I doubt you have any shot of getting a 15/30 spread..to close to the 20/40 limit, THOUGH that game has been so sparse, it may actually be possible to convert the 20 players down to 15 if they though the game would solidify.

6/12 is way too close to 8/16 in my opinion.  I prefer 4 & 8 (and 5 & 10 if they played 10/20 with blue or like the old 51st ave 5/10 white game) chip structure over a 3 & 6 structure in non split pot games.  I'm sure some people prefer the 3 & 6 structure of the 6/12 game but they're wrong!

My roll took a beating in the 20 game a few months ago.  I would like a game to move down to that isn't a massive drop.  The fall from 20/40 (with an occasional 40/80) to 8/16 (with no other options) is too huge.

I think dropping 6/12 completely would be beneficial for 8/16 & 20/40.

or

Drop 8/16 for Nidociv's (or should I say s'nidociV) 10/20 with blue chips.  That would be a killer game and would even out the fall from high stakes to low.  I'm sure I'd miss the ol' 8/16 but not for long as I imagine a 10/20 blue would be exciting as hell.
