For me it would have to be at a live poker tournament.
A few guys were teasing me cause they knew I played online poker.
They figured that was the only poker I had ever played. My dad had taught me
poker, and we played often. I lost a few chips to them. So I waited patiently for a hand. I was
on the table, of all men.

I was dealt QQ, and went all in when it was my turn. 2 guys thought they could be me. One turned over 6 6 the other had 10 9 suited. I had enough chips to cover so I wasn't very worried

I don't remember the flop. I do remember I took both guys out. They both
smiled at me and said "Well Played."

A guy on my right who was still in said. "They will have to think twice before
they decide to pick on an online player."

this post is odd...
guys were teasing you because you played online poker...where the heck are you playing?
don't remember the flop but remember what they held? and then you were told "well played" because you went all in with a superior hand?

"They will have to think twice before
they decide to pick on an online player."

weird.

Watch out for those that call your all-in.

Quote"They say that the brain sometimes confuses fear with passion.  So the next time someone bets all their chips at you and it will cost you all your chips to call and you already have a ton of your chips in the pot and your tournament life is on the line.  If you call the bet it's possible that you don't fear your opponent.  You may just want to ****'em!"

The best hands I ever win with are the 2,3 2,4 3,4 3,5 4,5 combos.  When they hit they seem to pull the biggest pots in deep NLH tourneys.

I won a ~$1500 pot at Casino AZ with pocket 7s on a K8775 board back in the 5/150 days. There were 3 other players in the hand. One had aces, one kings, and one 69 of hearts who had an open ended straight flush which ended up making the straight on the river. Horray for the 1 outter on the turn.

The biggest pot I ever won was with J8 of diamonds at the Rio on an 8 high flop with 2 diamonds. Got it all in with an opponent on a higher flush draw while the pf raiser folded 10s. We both bricked out and my 8s were good for 2.2k. Glad he folded the 10s.

In general though, I love hitting sets in NLHE. They are so disquised usually and against an aggressive opponent holding a strong but 2nd best hand, they can make a lot of money. I also like raising with suited connectors and flopping trips. Like 910 of clubs on an A99 board!
