How often and how much do you use alcohol while playing?  How does it affect your game?

Ummm well I went to Vegas for a week once and lost about 3K drunk...I played poker for a while, got bored of it an attacked the hand-shuffled pai gow tables at Hooters.  I got on the plane back to WA drunk and stopped off at Muckleshoot on the way home, dropping another 2k or so.  The last time I drank was at CAZ in January of last year and I lost about 1K playing 5/150 then about twice that much steaming at the blackjack table....so I guess drinking and playing doesn't generally work out to well for me.  Then again, drinking and anything doesn't seem to work out for me, that's why I don't do it anymore.
