I usually go to Wild horse pass to play cards since i do pretty well there. I also love the food that they have there and staff is awesome...Only downfall is that games that they offer

2/4 garbage
3/6 semi garbage
4/8 decent
8/16 good stuff
and thats it!!!

never have a 2/20 or 5/150 or omaha

There is no doubt you will be able to find the action you want at CAZ on the weekend.
Aside from pretty good 3/6 and 4/6 action( relative to most LLH games) the 6/12 and 8/16 games can get rocking , thought the 8/16 at Gila is generally considered the most out of control game around, CAZ has a much better spread of action limits.  Thought its been slow(er) CAZ still gets close to filling all 45 tables on the week ends, and even close on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday because of the tournaments and pre/post tournament live action.

There were SEVEN 5-150 games and TWO 10-150 games with list by 8 clock on Friday night.

Thursday and Friday i heard them "checking the list" for A 10-150 Omaha game, not sure if it ever fired up, bvut i think that game might soon become more common, heard talk about a 2-20 game as well.

There 20/40 games have tamed down just a bit, but are still action packed, there are usually 3 to 4 of those on the weekends and almost always a 40/80( or two) and a 60/120( sometimes as a mix game)

Well I just left at 7:30pm this Sat. Night, and there were your regular 3/6 and 4/8 games, 2 6/12 and 8/16 games, 2 20/40, 2 40/80, 2 10/150, and a handful of 5/150 games along with usually a 3/6 and 6/12 omaha hi/lo game.

Last night they had 10/150 omaha hi/lo going.  I didn't play in the game because frankly, I didn't bring enough cash.  I can't even imagine how sick that game is.  I've never played much PLO8 which is the closest variation I have played at all.  The only thing which might make it less insane is that a lot of the pots will be split.  Still, facing a 150 bet with a probablility of getting quatered makes an interesting twist.  If it starts going regularily, I'll definitely give it a try one of these days.  I am not sure if doing a full buyin would be best or doing small buyins would.

Be careful with this game.  The people it is attracting aren't the 5/150 and 10/150 crowd, but the 40/80 and 60/120 crowd who also play mix games...it appears to be quite a tough lineup, at least based on how they play hold'em.  They could obviously be horrible at hi/lo, but I don't know.

I think it's a good poker player game.  PLO is not spread in that many places and PLO8 is rarer still.  The only place I've seen/played PLO8 is online.  The spread limit changes things a lot as compared to pot-limit though.  The cap of 150 also has interesting implications.  I've been thinking a bit about the best strategy to employ.  The first time I play I'd definitely want to play very tight and get a feel for it, like any other game.  Obviously suited aces and low hands are going to be good holdings.  If that crowd is playing, I'd imagine it's probably a fairly loose, aggressive game.  I think it will probably be a matter of playing good starting hands and praying.
