Omaha-hi, max buy-in at 5-150, and 2-150?

I know these are probably long shots but I thought this is the best place to suggest it anyways.

1.  Add a 5-150 omaha-hi game.  What an action game that would be!  I've heard from many players saying they would love it.

2.  Raise the max buy-in at 5-150 to $500.  The 10-150 game is $1000 giving 100bb.  It would be nice to have 100bb instead of just the 75bb, as it plays much like a 2-5nl game.

3.  2-150 holdem.  It would play much like a 1-2nl game (the most popular NL game in vegas and other places that allow real NL).  Max buy-in could be $200.  I know many people that would love this as it would allow players who play a little lower stakes to try their hand at a NL-type game.  You definitely would not be short of players for this game.

Again, I know they're long shots...but I'd love to see these additions/changes.  It would make a great poker room even better, offering an even wider variety of games.

I like #1 and #2.  I would learn to play omaha if there was a spread limit version of it, I think this would be a fun change from playing 20/40 every night.  I don't know enough about omaha to play in the 20 game that sometimes goes.  And I can't get myself to play 6-12 O8 when I think of how much more I can make playing 20/40 HE.

I'm sure that #2 had been suggested by every winning 5-150 player, I'm supprised it hasn't happened truthfully.

#3 though: I don't think there is anyway they will try to spread 3 spread limit games, although I agree with you and think it would be a great game.  Maybe changing 5-150 to 2-150 so there are only 2 spread limit games might work.  The 5-150 is so popular that I don't think the regulars would like to 'move down' to 2-150.

Nice post.

Yea I'm also surprized about #2.  It would make it a much better game.

#3  - I figured that might be a reason not to try it but with enough interest, I think it could happen.  3 spread-limit games isn't that much considering they have sooo many 3-6, 4-8, and 6-12 games.

I'm there for the Omaha game....  As soon as I move out there.  I'm from upstate NY and have only one casino within close proximity to me (Turning Stone)  The only Omaha game they spread is a 4/8 8B and thats only on the weekends with enough interest.  NY allows NL and PL games but they will not spread PLO high at Turning Stone.  (I think they worry about confusion in calculating pots)  I'll have to bring up the idea of a 5/150 Omaha high game as it would be a real action game.
I am moving to Phoenix this fall.  Anyone looking for a good employee?  I have no college degree and I sold cars for 7 1/2 years.

5-150 Omaha hi would be absolutely insane.  Wait...how about 10-150 Omaha hi...

I'd definitely play in a 2-150 hold em game, especially when I'm getting stamps for the morning tournament and am too tired to focus on a 5-150 game.  I mostly just play 5-150 on weekend nights when the games are softest.  I usually play 3-6 stud when I'm still waking up in the morning, but 2-150 would be a nice alternative.  I don't see them doing it, however.

Having a spread limit Omaha game weather it be Omaha h or 8b is a terrifice idea. This is a game that should be given serious consideration. I'm in.
