It is different and has scared me not to post since it has changed :).  I have no complaints, it is nice and clean, may be a bit bright, but overall it doesn't bother me.  Thanks for your continued hard work!

Very simple, offer a give away promotion at the card room with a drawing where people have to submit their name and e-mail address.  You can even announce that its to make more people aware of the website.  Then have another promotion only for people that have active accounts.  With 46 tables you should see several hundred new users soon.

That IS an excellent idea, unfortunately this is an unsanctioned board.  We don't have the ability to make announcements or promote the board IN the room.

Thats too bad, do the folks who run the poker room not want to expand thier business?  I plan on running a small home game when I move out there and using the internet to promote it and other games like it.

just print out some business cards and start leaving them around the casino. stick some in the magazines. if this board got big the casino would probably want to buy it from you, unless they dont understand the internet. or else they'd sue you for using their name

They are trying.  Last week I saw a nice bold sign advertising the site posted at the Indian Bend exit coming south on the 101, and this weekend, it was torn down already :(.

It is doubtful Casino Arizona would be receptive to blatant solicitation in the form of passing out business cards in the poker room. We don't want to anger them.
We ARE trying to help promote the room( and hope they recognize that fact) and want them to be at least tolerant of this board.

We are well on our way to developing a solid base( which YOU have all been doing very well) that will help to convince CAZ that this board is a good thing for the room.

Word of mouth is powerful and probably the most effective promotional method at this point.

We actually looked into trademark and copyright infringement issues, so as not to create any legal issues... there are none as the board is set-up.
