Still Feel Gone

Just wondering what people thought about the drive to Vegas.  I can never decide which way to go.

I've always gone over the Hoover Dam.  Last time I drove there was January and it looked like they were building a new bridge or something, maybe to bypass the slowdown on the dam.

Hoover Dam easily.  I drive to Vegas about 4 times a year, and only once did I go through Laughlin, and it was painfully long.  And only once had I wished I went to Laughlin, and it was a Sunday afternoon after March Madness, also the last day of Spring Break for Arizona schools, so yeah, it was backed up like an hour+ to get to the Dam.  Other than those times, it has been hardly a delay, if any at all.  Leaving Tempe, I can usually make it to Vegas in about 4.5 hours if I am driving and no stops, about 5 hours for everyone else.

The Dam is the best way to go as long there isn't Dam Traffic.  I got stuck for 2 hours once waiting to go over the Dam, people walking around outside of their car waiting for the cars to move.

Over the dam is the only way to go.

I just got back from Vegas today. It usually takes me 4 hours from Arrowhead. I have made it in 3 1/2 hours before.

Up $1,500 from the cowboys in town for the NFR.
